What’s going on?
Welcome to the final week of our METRO budget campaign! Houstonians know what will make their transit journeys better and they’re letting METRO know. Dozens of riders like you have showed up to speak this summer at the METRO Board of Directors meetings and asked them to prioritize Frequency, Accessibility and Reliability as they plan their Fiscal Year 2026 budgets. We agree. The riders we surveyed want to know that there is a bus coming to pick them up and want to know when it will arrive at their stop. These are tangible things that METRO can budget for, and they need to know that riders are serious in these requests. They need to know their decisions will define your day to day transit trips.
That’s why LINK Houston is asking you to wear blue to the Budget Vote happening Thursday, September 25, 2025. Let’s show the METRO Board the faces of the riders their decisions impact.
