LINK Houston Welcomes Robin Holzer as New Executive Director

Headshot of Robin Holzer

HOUSTON – LINK Houston is pleased to announce the appointment of Robin Holzer as its new Executive Director beginning May 19, 2025, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in transportation policy, urban planning, community organizing, and advocacy. Holzer’s proven track record in fostering collaboration, advancing civic agendas, and delivering impactful transportation solutions makes her an ideal leader to guide LINK Houston into its next chapter.

Holzer has dedicated her career to three principles: everyone deserves convenient and affordable choices to reach daily destinations like work, school, shopping, and healthcare; everyone deserves to get home safely each night; and well-informed public participation improves public projects. She has worked at the intersection of policy, research, and advocacy, empowering residents to shape more equitable and sustainable mobility options. Prior to joining LINK Houston, Holzer served as Deputy Director of BikeHouston, Marketing Manager at TEI Planning + Design, and co-founded the Citizens’ Transportation Coalition, a grassroots organization focused on engaging Houstonians in transportation decisions that affect their daily lives.

She has successfully worked with volunteers, local governments, and organizations of all sizes—from small startups to Fortune 500 companies—to advance transportation solutions that are accessible, safe, and efficient for all.

“Robin’s extensive experience in both grassroots organizing and transportation policy makes her an outstanding choice to lead LINK Houston,” said Amanda Timm Board Chair of LINK Houston. “Her ability to bring people together across organizational boundaries, foster collaboration, and advocate for equitable transportation aligns perfectly with our mission to improve access to opportunity for all Houstonians.”

Holzer steps into the role at a critical time, as LINK Houston continues to champion equitable transportation policies and initiatives that prioritize underserved communities. Under her leadership, the organization will build on its momentum, working with local officials, transit agencies, residents, and employers to ensure a more connected and accessible Houston.

“I am honored to join LINK Houston and excited to continue advocating for a city where everyone—regardless of income, neighborhood, or ability—has access to safe, affordable, and reliable transportation options,” said Holzer. “Houston is at a pivotal moment in its growth, and I look forward to working with our partners and the community to shape a more inclusive and vibrant transportation future.”

Holzer officially assumes her role as Executive Director of LINK Houston on Monday, May 19, 2025.
