Join us on June 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CDT for our virtual Street Safety Summit 2.0! LINK Houston will present updated crash data analysis, moderate an expert panel discussion focusing on funding mechanisms for safety projects, and invite community members to share their experiences walking, rolling, and biking in Houston.
LINK Houston hosted the first Street Safety Summit in 2018 in partnership with Rice University’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research. The Summit 2.0 will again center safety and accessibility for people walking, biking, or rolling on Houston’s streets. The event will provide practical, relatable examples of how Houston can get more creative with funding mechanisms to implement safety priorities the City developed over the last three years. The Summit will serve as a learning opportunity for residents and decision-makers, demonstrating strategies from other cities and a call-to-action campaign any Houstonian can get behind.
The event is funded by a grant through the Coalition for Environment, Equity, and Resilience, and is free and open to the public.
Register today! The first 100 people to register and join the event will receive a code for a free lunch!
