In the first six months of 2018, 298 Texas pedestrians died on or along roadways, the Governors Highway Safety Association said in its report, released Thursday. The “report only underscore the urgency of fixing our streets and driving culture now,” said Oni Blair, executive director of LINKHouston, a local advocacy group. “There’s no reason for people to die walking in our city….
